Jessica Quijano, aia
Jess brings to HBDS 10+ years of experience in all phases of a broad range of architectural and urban design projects. An enthusiastic advocate for public interest design, Jess is passionate about the challenges and unique opportunities facing urban communities and is interested in the relationship between the built environment and social justice. She enjoys engaging in collaborative design solutions to address urban conditions such as vacancy and abandonment. Her work mostly aims to reinterpret the everyday environment, using the process of adaptive reuse as a design strategy and a means of generating social energy. As a past Associate Member Director for the AIA Huron Valley Chapter, Jess promoted the positive impact good design has on both the built environment and public health.
